Christmas Musicals Made Simple

By Jaymey Hardin & Vince Wilcox

Each summer, we normally debut our new and exclusive seasonal musicals for choirs and musicians (which we’ve done). But this year is far from normal. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Christmas services are bound to look somewhat different.

Anticipating that your choir and congregation may not be back in full attendance, Discover Worship has responded by re-imaging simpler versions of our two new works as well as three of our best loved musicals from the past with completely different song selections designed specifically for smaller gatherings—and fewer singers and musicians.

We’ve kept the original structure and narration for these 5 musicals but substituted songs that are much more easily performed by soloists, ensembles, and even your congregation.

These simple musicals are easy to plan and perform, while still capturing all the wonder and glory of our Savior’s birth.

Worship has never been more important than it is right now. And while this Christmas may look different from any other, Christ is always worthy of our praise. So, let's worship!

Here’s our brand-new line-up of “musicals made simple:”
