Have you ever asked the question "What on earth am I here for?" I get the impression, through God's word that we were created for the purpose of worship. Whether you are a Christian or not, whether you believe in any god or not, you WILL worship something. It's in your DNA. God created you for that specific purpose. We just tend to worship the wrong things most of the time. Think about it. Things like money, possessions, relationships and the obvious things that consume our thoughts, time and energy. In the end those things really lead back to the worship of self. Yep, we worship ourselves way too much and doing that, leads to emptiness and depression. When we truly worship God and take ourselves off of the throne, only then will we be truly satisfied. Why? Because you will be doing the very thing that you were "blueprinted" to do- Worship in spirit and in truth!
