Join us as we celebrate the birth of our nation and give thanks to God for the freedoms we have in this country. Independence Day is coming soon and we look forward to celebrating America's birth! We'll light off fireworks and grill out–you better believe it! But as we celebrate, let us bow our knees in prayer. Not only in thanksgiving, but in humility and prayer for our nation to return to God.
Our country is divided in many ways, but it's worth fighting for, it's worth dying for, and it's worth praying for. The Bible says, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." When we go to God in prayer, chains are broken. Mountains are moved. Seas are parted. Lives are changed. Darkness turns to light. Everything changes in His name. Let's pray for America, and never give up!
