Key Scripture: “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 NKJV)
The spirit that is harassing you is the same spirit that Jesus completely defeated at the cross. He is not as strong as Jesus—he is infinitely weaker. The Greater One does not visit you on Sundays; He has taken up permanent residence inside you.
Every time fear rises, it is facing Someone infinitely bigger than itself. Consider: what threat or voice have you been acting like is greater than the God who lives in you? Have you been living as if the enemy is winning, instead of already being crushed?
Three Ways to Overcome Today
1. Declare out loud, throughout your day: “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.”
2. Picture Jesus on the throne inside your spirit every time fear speaks—then notice which is greater.
3. Act and walk like the greater One lives in you: take one bold step that only makes sense if 1 John 4:4 is true.
Supporting Scriptures Romans 8:37; Colossians 2:15; Luke 10:19 Reflection & Prayer: Write the name of the spirit or situation that has felt bigger than God. Draw a huge throne over it and write “GREATER lives here.”
