[Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Welcome to this quick overview of our new and exclusive Christmas work, *[The Promise of Christmas](https://www.discoverworship.com/store/the-promise-of-christmas).* Bible scholars count more than 300 specific prophecies that foretold that Jesus was, and is God’s promised Messiah—many of which were fulfilled at His first advent. This 7-song, 30+minute musical celebrates specific Christmas promises that God made and kept.  *The Promise of Christmas* features original works as well as adaptations of beloved carols from Dennis Allen, Tom Fettke, Russell Mauldin, and Dave Williamson, among others. The musical concludes with a very accessible version of Handel’s "Hallelujah Chorus”…and shouldn’t every choir member sing this iconic piece at least once in their life? Stylistically, *The Promise of Christmas* ranges from traditional to light contemporary and works well for blended music programs. The extensive narration gives context to the featured Christmas prophecies from the Old Testament and is written to be shared by two speakers. The narration concludes by inviting listeners to trust God’s promises. We’ve also included optional piano instrumentals that can be performed while the narrators speak. **Highlights:** - Adult SATB Choir - 7 songs/30+ minutes - Easy to medium difficulty - Traditional to light contemporary/blended - Narrations shared by two - Optional piano instrumentals included **Arrangements by:** - Dennis Allen - Dan Boone - Tom Fettke - Joe Linn - Russell Mauldin - Dave Williamson - Hal Wright *If you’d like to hear more, simply click on the link below to preview the full sheet music and audio demo:* [![The Promise of Christmas](https://blog.discoverworship.com/hs-fs/hubfs/The%20Promise%20of%20Christmas.jpg?width=180&height=180&name=The%20Promise%20of%20Christmas.jpg)](https://www.discoverworship.com/store/the-promise-of-christmas)**[The Promise of Christmas](https://www.discoverworship.com/store/the-promise-of-christmas)** If you’re not a member, you’ll need a free account to log in.
