The musical concludes with a very accessible version of Handel’s "Hallelujah Chorus”…and shouldn’t every choir member sing this iconic piece at least once in their life?
Stylistically, The Promise of Christmas ranges from traditional to light contemporary and works well for blended music programs. The extensive narration gives context to the featured Christmas prophecies from the Old Testament and is written to be shared by two speakers. The narration concludes by inviting listeners to trust God’s promises. We’ve also included optional piano instrumentals that can be performed while the narrators speak.
