Join us as we celebrate the birth of our nation and salute those who bravely defend our freedom! We recently observed Memorial Day in America, and honored those who gave their lives in service to our country. We also just commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and paid respect to the brave soldiers who fought to defend our freedom in World War II.
As Independence Day approaches, many churches will take time to celebrate our nation's birth and recognize the courageous men and women who've served our country and fought for its freedom. And we pray God's blessings over those in our armed services and their families who've served with untold selflessness.
As we prepare to celebrate America's birth, we remember that we are citizens of two kingdoms: the earthly one in which we live—and the heavenly one for which we are bound. When we put the kingdom of God and His righteousness first, our patriotism to our earthly country finds it's true and fullest expression. For those of us in the United States, the celebration of Independence Day is just weeks away. And below, we'll present some of our best Patriotic Anthems—all of which are informed by our ultimate allegiance to Christ.
