For 18 years, our goal has been to provide your choir with singable, biblical, and affordable resources for worship.
Our Unlimited Annual subscribers get unlimited access to almost 30 Easter musicals, mini-musicals, suites — and all the resources you’ll need to rehearse and present them. There’s no better value for your music ministry!
This year, we’re honored to debut 3 exclusive Easter musicals: one for our blended/contemporary choirs, another for more traditional choirs, and a mini-musical.
Here we go!
-----------
Designed for blended and contemporary settings, Remember the Cross is a worshipful 40-minute cantata with narration weaving together 9 songs from such accessible arrangers as Dennis Allen and Russell Mauldin. It spans Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday — ending with an invitation and celebration of Christ’s resurrection!
The musical begins with “Prepare the Way,” an upbeat and majestic Palm Sunday anthem from Dennis and Nan Allen.
After a short narration, we move into “In a Word, It Was Love,” a powerful ballad by Regi Stone and Pete Carlson that describes the love that took Jesus to the cross.
The setting then changes to the Last Supper, where Cliff Duren’s stirring arrangement of the Paul Marino anthem “Remember the Cross” becomes the emotional centerpiece of this musical. [Once your choir has mastered this piece, you can use it all year long as a communion song.]
The narrative moves from Gethsemane to Calvary with J. Daniel Smith’s poignant setting of “O Sacred Head Now Wounded” that’s arranged with “Kyrie/Lord Have Mercy.”
Echoing the words of the centurion who looked up at the crucified Christ, the story pauses to reflect on the enormity of his sacrifice with “Only the Son of God,” a Regi Stone worship song arranged by Russell Mauldin.
Then on to celebrate resurrection Sunday with Dennis Allen’s upbeat anthem “The Tomb is Empty,” followed by “Just As You Said,” an affirmation that Jesus is exactly who he said he was: the way, the truth and the life.
The musical moves on to “Christ Is Able to Save,” a Tommy Walker/Mike Harland song arranged by the great Marty Parks that provides an opportunity to offer an invitation.
To close, we’ve chosen the powerful worship song “Alive” — an upbeat affirmation of Jesus’ resurrection that will bring folks to their feet in celebration!

Next, we have Redeemer: The Timeless Story of Easter. Our goal was to create an Easter musical for traditional or blended worship settings that’s both simple and timeless. This work is very simply arranged, and the message of God’s love and redemption is very clear.
It’s 30 minutes long, includes 8 familiar hymns and new compositions, and uses narration to tell this timeless story. You can split the narration across multiple voices — or your pastor can do the honors.
The musical opens with a celtic-flavored setting of the beloved hymn “I Will Sing of My Redeemer.” After a brief narration introducing our need for salvation, we move into a reverent arrangement of “Jesus Paid It All” by Bruce Greer.
We then go to a simple arrangement of one of our most popular songs, Regi Stone’s “Enter Paradise,” followed by a new piece, “Crown of Thorns,” a stunningly beautiful anthem describing the pain and passion endured by Christ on the cross. We believe you’ll agree this is one of the best new songs in our catalog.
We find ourselves gazing upon Jesus’ sacrifice — so we reflect upon this with Robert Sterling and Regi Stone’s anthem “The Love of Christ” — a modern hymn reminiscent of some of the new worship songs from the Gettys.
After the cross of Good Friday, we visit the empty tomb on Easter morning with Hal Wright’s upbeat hymn “Alleluia, Jesus is King!”
We move to the ascension, where Jesus affirms one last time, “I Am Your Salvation” and then commissions his disciples — and us — to go into the whole world and tell this timeless story.
The musical closes with Kyle Hill’s “Risen From Eternal Death,” a reverent hymn-like celebration of what it means to be redeemed and resurrected in Christ.

Finally, we’re honored to present Christ is Risen! An Easter Mini-Musical.
This work is 20 minutes long and uses 7 songs and simple narration. It’s fairly simple and works well for choirs that strike that blended balance between traditional and contemporary styles. You could call the style “Inspirational.”
It begins with the Palm Sunday anthem “Enter In” (which includes parts for optional kids choir). [In addition to using this on Easter, you could obviously pull out this song and use it on Palm Sunday.]
The next song moves us to Maundy Thursday and the Last Supper with the Dennis and Nan Allen communion piece, “This is For You.”
We then proceed to Gethsemane, Jesus' trial, and then on to Calvary with the poignant Regi Stone/Pete Carlson ballad, “The Way of Sacrifice.”
The next song, “King of Kings,” tells how the King of Creation left his throne to be slain as the sacrifice for humanity’s sins.
Christ has died. His body has been taken down from the cross. Dave Williamson’s exquisite arrangement of “Weep No More” captures both the sadness and the hope of Christ in the tomb.
Dennis & Nan Allen’s “Christ Is Risen Indeed” is the perfect resurrection anthem – upbeat and joyous.
After a short prayer, Christ Is Risen concludes with “Amen and Amen” another Dennis & Nan Allen song with a fun gospel lilt that adds the perfect exclamation point to your Easter celebration.
