Lately, I've been thinking a lot about freedom and what that means. We recently celebrated Independence Day in America, and commemorated our nation's birth. I'm so grateful for the freedoms that we have in this country, but I'm reminded of the ultimate freedom that we have in Christ. Galatians 5:1 says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Freedom in Christ means more to me than anything.
Let us never forget the freedom that we have in Him. When we call upon His name, mountains are moved, chains are broken, and victory is ours. The songs below sing of our eternal freedom in Christ.
